The purpose of the award is highlighting the most promising solutions for the industry. It honours companies and teams whose solutions or projects may remarkably contribute to one of the five nominations devoted to the new strategic fields of the aerospace industry: green aerospace, 2021 innovation, cybersecurity and impacting digitalization. The selection of the laureates was made by an international jury consisting of prominent aerospace and innovation professionals. The project by Daedalean that won the appreciation of the jury and bringed to Daedalean the first place in its nomination was PilotEye™, the joint product planned to market launch by Daedalean and Avidyne.
The award ceremony took place on October 26, 2021 in Toulouse. Andrea Schlapbach, CCO of Daedalean, presented the project and received the prise.
