This week, we had the privilege of hosting a delegation from the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) for a Stage of Involvement (SOI) audit as part of the certification process of PilotEye, a novel product that we are preparing to launch for the market together with Avidyne. PilotEye is destined to be the first machine-learning-based safety-critical application certified in civil aviation.
Over the course of three days, the delegation engaged with members of Daedalean’s Safety, Systems, Software/Hardware, Machine Learning, Data, and Management teams. The guests attended technical presentations and had discussions with our team members to assess our product development.
